RAW Conversation: Seafood Industry

⚠️*Trigger Warning*

To be able to walk alongside a person during some of their hardest moments has a weight that we will always hold in the highest regard.

We are grateful to Clive, Squizzy, Julian and Mark for their bravery and vulnerability during this raw conversation about the impact suicide has within our local seafood community.

ABOUT STAY AFLOAT:

The Stay Afloat program was originally created by Tasmanian Seafood Industry Council and now runs in Tasmania in partnership with Rural Alive & Well. Together we are able to ensure our seafood industry continues to thrive for generations to come.

🎣The program centres around providing the industry with one-on-one support to individuals in their own environment, whilst also delivering education and awareness activities to increase protective factors and reduce the risk of suicide.

This program is made possible with thanks to the following generous sponsors:

Tasmanian Government

Salmon Tasmania

Seafood and Maritime Training

Tasmanian Abalone Council

Tasmanian Rock Lobster Fishermen's Association
