Since founding the Mobart Mo Bros following the death of his father by suicide, Tom has advocated for mental health issues facing his community for almost 20 years. Believing strongly in the power of fun and positivity to engage a community, the team has grown every year to become Australia's top Movember fundraising team for 6 years' running.
In 2020, Tom was named Tasmania's Local Hero for the Australian of the Year Awards. A small business owner and passionate Tasmanian with family in the Derwent Valley, Tom joined the RAW Board in June 2020 and became President in October 2021.
